medical RECORD:

Patient was administered to Lazarus springs medical centre after expressing concerns of rapid weight loss, extreme migraines, anemia, numbing sensations, cold sweats, involuntary muscle response, intrusive scratching thoughts and a "crawling sensation" underneath their skin.
Patient's complexion was so pale, their skeleton could be viewed under certain lighting

Prior to this, patient had no history of any underlying medical conditions and had only started developing symptoms recently after swimming in the open sea.
Patient recalled feeling a sudden stabbing sensation in their foot before all subsequent pain anomalously subsided with no visible wound to speak of.
medical procedures showed that patient was suffering from premature rigor-mortis, although despite being severely underweight and the stiffening muscles, patient was fully capable of movement and communication.

Addendum:

Following a recent x-rays examination, only those with proper clearance is to be authorised to access the resulting data under extreme supervision. all information about results and diagnostics are to be withheld from patient, instead being prescribed with a fabricated "tropical disease" and will be kept under medical jurisdiction until further notice.

WARNING:

Viewership of this information without proper authorisation will result in termination of service and immediate discharge from the premises alongside legal action taken.

Addendum 2:

Due to a recent spike to aggression levels, patient is to be withheld and confined in the quarantine district and to be supervised on a regular basis. Sharp or potentially lethal objects are to be kept out of patient's reach at al times.

LAZARUS SPRINGS PATIENT RECORD

Description:

upon recent discovery, subject appears to be infected with a now-currently unidentified endoparasitic arthropod, presumably hailing from the subphylum crustacea.
Possibly isopoda or remipedia? Data not found.
parasite appears to be aquatic in origin, appearing to require a host in order to survive and transforming the patient's body into a sort of microhabitat for both sustenance and a means of locomotion; to the point of replacing the cerebral spinal fluid with a convergent haemolymph
We hypothesise the parasite could not live outside a human body for less than 10minutes.
most shockingly, forming a symbiotic relationship with the patient, Organism has appeared to have of near-perfectly replaced both the central nervous system and the need for most of the patient's organs, rendering most of them vestigial or inoperative.
She can function without a beating heart- fascinating. ~ C
furthermore, the organism appears to have bypassed the neural limitations of the human body-plan, allowing patient to perform above peak human capabilities.
We've had to replace door handles and hinges quite extensively and switch drinking aparatus' to paper due to patient not realising own strength.
From it's dominant behaviours in replicating the patient's muscle movements and brainwaves, it seems like the parasite is starting to █████ █████ █████
All personnel who have interacted with patient have been put under quarantine as a safety measure.

Some of the entries appear to be smudged out from the familiar red liquid[15th October]
• patient is checked into facility with ██████, given a brief checkup for any external issues. none notable. further analysis needed to guarantee a proper diagnosis. patient appears to be getting along with staff and other patients, compliant towards procedures despite concerns about heat.
[16th october]
• Patient appears to make strange clicking noises whenever they walk. staff assumed it was an advanced case of hyper-mobility due to background in fitness. Patient files a complaint of the place being too cold despite the hospital being a consistent room temperature.
Suspected case of anemia.
[17th october]
• Subject again complains about decrease in temperature, wearing a beanie for warmth, seems to have a pescatarian preference towards fish and seafood alike. Fellow subjects claim that patient has ██ ██████. despite diet, patient doesn't seem to be putting on weight.
*Mr. Doe's Catfish and Chips in the hospital canteen was an especially catered preference.
[18th October]
• we've been receiving complaints from personnel about patient roaming the halls and staring at sleeping attendants, chalked up to "sleepwalking". patient even broke a lamp and inflicted notable second degree burn to leg in one of their trances.
• revision: patient is allowed to roam the facility with light supervision. doesn't seem to react to light normally? ~ C

[19th october]
• unusual reaction from one of the therapy dogs, appeared to start incessantly barking at patient despite them trying to approach them in a non-aggressive manner. Dog and patient were later relocated for procedure. joint clicking now full on cracks.
• revision: has anybody actually seen her blink lately?

One of our most reliable therapy dogs "Shia" seemed especially unnerved by the patient's advances.

[20th October]
after extensive medical procedures, we're now taking to x-ray analysis to show what could be internally wrong with the patient. Will announce results in a later entry.
• Revision: respectfully, what the fuck? how was that thing inside her for that long and sneak by most of our instruments?? This can't get out. i'm ordering that this goes under nda. all personnel shall be tested at once for potential █████. extreme supervision required
[23rd october]
• Appears to be getting restless, suffered convulsions. Starting to get less more aggressive and slip into further trances.
Revision: the cracking. it's rigor mortis.
[25th october]
• revision: due to event which caused severe catroid damage to personnel, subject is to be held within quarantine and restrained with monitoring around the clock, not to be released unless under proper supervision for safety of patient and staff involved. ~ C
Possible self-preservation tactic or impulse response? Perhaps it overheard the staff talking about plans of █████

[29th october]
• During █████, patient proceeded to █████ █████ █████ causing staff to rush in and end session prematurely. Sedative was administered and patient passed out~
•Revision: balls to convention. we're doing this █████ soon as possible. ~ C

[30th October]
Something's wrong. something's very very wrong.
i've been waiting for this moment. - C
[31rst October]
• If you're reading this, then chances are you're in the same boat as all of us in this little patch of heaven known as Lazarus springs. to cut on the formalities, the town is fucked. all of a sudden, the dead just started coming back to life and now has a hunger for our man cutlets, all before we could operate on the patient; on the bright side, at least they're not the main priority now it seems.
I was fortunate enough to see the signs and book it out of there faster than a speeding bullet, others weren't so lucky, rookie move in the apocalypse to check out the clattering and banging in the morgue, after that, it all snowballed from there.Naturally, i've been preparing for this time to come, we all saw the signs, yet ignored them. i however, will not spend this time standing around and focusing on the has-been, now is a time of action. I can only hope these documents serve you well for this shitshow we've found ourselves in, if the patient, by something short of a miracle is still out there. But I don't believe in miracles, i believe in science.as of now, the best i can wish you is this.

The entry ends there...
